Google pixel devices

On Tuesday Google launched it's new flagship devices. This time these are not called by nexus devices, this time they have a new name that is pixel. Google is only branding these devices by pixel actually the devices are made by htc. So those who are nexus series fans it's time to say goodbye.
Google actually launched two of it's smartphones in pixel series that is Google pixel and Google pixel XL. Former having 5 inch display and latter having 5.5 inch display. Both of the the smartphones are having AMOLED displays. Google pixel has full hd display while Google pixel xl has QHD display. They have gorilla glass 4 protection.

While htc built this device, Google takes the pride of designing this device. It has a combination of glass and metal design. It has a half aluminum back and half glass back. The lower half is aluminum and the upper portion is glass. The glass is really shiny.

Both the smartphones have the same hardware. They are powered by the snapdragon 821 which is an upgrade to snapdragon 820. Both the smartphones have Adreno 530 GPU.
Both the smartphones uses the latest android Nougat 7.1. These are the first smartphones in the market to come with latest android version.

Both the smartphones come with two memory options 32GB and 128GB. Both the smartphones have 4GB of ram. There is no micro sd card slot in these devices so we can't expand storage but we can free up some storage by uploading some of our pictures to cloud.
Battery capacity of both of the smartphones are different as one is having full hd display and other is having QHd display. Google pixel is having 2770 man battery while Google pixel xl is having 3450 may of battery.

Both of the smartphones have the same cameras. They have 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera can record videos upto 4k. They have a secondary camera of 8MP with f/2.4 aperture. It seems that they have have the same cameras just like last nexus device but new electronic image stabilization is present.
Both of them have fingerprint readers at the back. Both of them supports fast charging. Both of them are dust and water resistant.

Google has also designed the cases for these smartphones. These cases are made from hard plastic and has the images of some famous landmarks and astronomical themes.

Pricing of these smartphones are not that much impressive. People will be disappointed after seeing it's price. Google pixel 32GB version is priced at 57000 INR while 128GB version is priced at 66000 INR. Google pixel xl 32GB is priced at  66000 INR while 128GB is priced at 76000 INR.

OnePlus 3 after 4 months of usage

OnePlus launched OnePlus 3 in June in India. It is having very impressive features at very affordable rate. It is having all the features of a flagship smartphone. Just like it's previous versions, OnePlus 1 and OnePlus 2, it also got very successful. All know about the specs of one plus 3.

Some of it's basic specs are:-
Display:- 5.5 inch full HD display
Processor:- Snapdragon 820 quad core
Ram:- 6GB ddr4 ram
Primary: 16 MP with f/2.0 aperture, phase
                  detection autofocus, OIS
  Video: Upto 4k
Secondary: 8 MP with f/2.0 aperture
Operating system : Oxygen OS based on
                                   Android v6.0.1

Earlier when one plus launched one plus 3 in market, it had many issues. There were many issues like legginess and poor ram management. But in course of these 4 months it has received many updates. Due to these updates it's most of the issues get resolved. Just like, earlier one plus is actually capping the amount of ram used  out of the given 6GB ram due to which it has very poor ram management, it lags even in simple day to day usage. But now this issue has been resolved.

The camera quality has also improved slightly. It is not good as Samsung s7 but under this price segment we can't expect more.

Now let's take a look at performance of this device. Here also the one plus 3 has excelled. It is one of the most fluid device. In performance it is as fast as Samsung Galaxy s7.

Cellular call quality is also really good on this device. There is no issues in receiving and making calls. It also supports Volte so it also works with reliance Jio.

The best feature of this smartphone is it's dash charger. This charger can charge this device fully from 0% to 100% in about an hour. Even some of the flagships such as Samsung s7 and Apple iPhone 6s don't have such fast charging. This fast charger is designed by one plus itself.

The battery life on this device is not that much great as compared to the other devices in this price bracket. We can get upto screen on time of about 4 and a half hours on a single charge. But thanks to it's dash charger, we can simply put it back on charging for about 15 minutes and our whole of the day will be go without ending of battery.

My final verdict is that it is one of the best smartphone available under 30000 INR because it gives all the flagship packed features with very good end user experience. If a person want to buy a flagship smartphone but has a limiting budget can blindly go for it.
