Design

Nokia X5 comes with the same design of that of Nokia X6 that is notch display design. These days most of the smartphones are coming with this notch display. The phone has a glass back which gives a premium look to the smartphone but our fingerprints will be easily visible as it is a glass back. The screen size on this is 5.86" which is little bit larger than that on Nokia X6. This is having a notch design with 19:9 aspect ratio but the resolution is just HD+. The resolution is 720*1520 pixels on a IPS LCD screen. There is no mention of any protection  on the screen. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back. The design of the device looks really good but it's display is just HD+. The phone is available in three colors that are night black, glacier white and Baltic sea blue.

Performance

Nokia X5 is powered by Mediatek Helio P60 which is a really fast chipset that also powers Realme 1 and Oppo F7. Helio P60 is based on octa core processor with four cortex A-73 cores cloaked at 2.0 GHz each other four cortex A-53 cores cloaked at 2.0 GHz. The performance of the phone will be really good. This chipset is even better than Snapdragon 636 which is present on Nokia X6. For better graphics there is Mali G72-MP3 GPU. So the gaming and all other tasks will be smooth without any lags and frame drops. Overall the performance of the phone will be really great considering it's price range.

Camera

The camera of Nokia X5 also seems to be really promising considering it's specifications. The phone has dual camera setup at back. There is a combination of 13MP,f/2.0 + 5MP depth shooters at the back. We are getting dual camera at this price which is really good. So the camera quality should also be really good in it's price range. This camera can record videos upto 1080p @30fps. There is a 8MP,f/2.2 shooter at front for selfies. Also there will be Portrait mode for front camera as well. These camera specifications is very rare in this price range so HMD Global is really giving a lot of attention.

User Interface

Here comes the thing for which HMD global is really good. The user interface of Nokia X5 will be stock android when it will be launched globally. Nokia X5 comes out of the box with Android Oreo 8.1 and this will be stock android. The user interface in Nokia X5 is really good and also there are very less frame drops and lags whatsoever in it's previous phones. Also HMD pushes updates really fast and they are bug free as well. You will never hear anybody complaining about the operating systems in new Nokia phones. Also the experience is really smooth. The UI runs fine without any lags and frame drops. So we are expecting the same from HMD Global for Nokia X5.

Conclusion

Nokia X5 will be priced less than Nokia X6 in the market even it has a better processor. Nokia X5 comes with a notch display which is very rare in this price segment and it comes on personal preference whether you like notch or not. It has really good camera in it's price segment. It comes with a really stable Operating system. The phone will be priced at around $150 which is really good. At this price this phone can be purchased with eyes closed. This will be really a great deal if the phone will be priced at this price.
